Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai will conduct the counselling of Maharashtra MBBS Admission Counseling Only aspirants whose names are going to be listed within the state merit list are going to be involved in Maharashtra NEET counselling. to look for Maharashtra MBBS counselling, aspirants must qualify NEET exam. The seats allotted during the Maharashtra MBBS counselling session are going to be done on the idea of scores obtained in the NEET UG exam. Aspirants are going to be involved in Maharashtra MBBS counselling for admission to 8850 MBBS and 3444 BDS seats offered by medical and dental colleges of the state. Maharashtra MBBS/BDS counselling is going to be conducted in three rounds including a mop-up round. During the counselling session, students got to provide their list of preferences of schools and courses, during which they want to require admission. In account of those choices filled, NEET result, seats available, reservation criteria and other details, Maharashtra MBBS admission is going to be granted. Candidates who are going to be allotted a seat must report at the universities alongside the documents for completion of the admission process and verification purposes.
The counselling of Maharashtra MBBS/BDS going to be online mode. The preferences provided during Maharashtra NEET counselling are going to be centrally assessed and therefore the list of candidates selected is going to be declared on the idea of it.
Login:- Candidates whose Maharashtra MBBS forms are going to be filled and who are going to be found eligible after document verification are going to be involved in the counselling process. Also, it’s important for aspirants to be included in the Maharashtra MBBS merit list. Shortlisted aspirants have to log in using the application number/username, password and document verification code, which can be allotted after verification purposes.
College CODE:– The college code may be a four-digit number with S and N suffix specifying for every college and course combination. within the Preference form, aspirants can choose a minimum of one college and a maximum of as many as they need for admission. The course and college code must be mentioned alongside a four-digit number with the special suffix N (NRI) and S (State quota). All seats under government or government-aided colleges are going to be considered under state quota seats during Maharashtra MBBS counselling. While private unaided/minority health science colleges each college will have a preference code with the suffix N or S.
Choice Filling:- After logging in, aspirants need to provide the preferences of colleges also as courses for Maharashtra MBBS counselling. Once the choices are entered, click on the ‘submit’ button to lock the alternatives. It must be noted that choices once entered are going to be considered as final ones and can’t be edited even for the next rounds of Maharashtra NEET-UG seat allotment. Therefore, students are advised to offer their preferences consistent with their NEET-UG results.
Seat Allotment:- The counselling of Maharashtra MBBS/BDS results for the first round are going to be announced within the third week of July, while the second round is going to be released within the second week of August. The admission to Maharashtra MBBS/BDS is going to be done on the idea of NEET rank, choices of schools as well as courses, seat availability, reservation criteria and other factors. just in case a candidate is allotted a seat, there are four options that they will fill during Maharashtra MBBS counselling.
Option 1: Aspirants who are satisfied with their seat allotted and don’t wish to sit for subsequent rounds of Maharashtra MBBS counselling can select this feature. Such students got to download the admission letter and report at the respective colleges for the Maharashtra MBBS counselling process.
Option 2: Students who are going to be satisfied with their allotted seat but also wish to participate in the next round of Maharashtra MBBS/BDS counselling can opt for this choice. during this situation, candidates have to report at the school and pay the requisite fees but can appear for subsequent counselling rounds. If the higher college are going to be allotted within the next round then the school previously allotted are going to be cancelled.
Option 3: Candidates who aren’t satisfied with the seat allotted but are willing to participate in Maharashtra MBBS counselling can choose this feature. For this, they have to cancel their allotted seat and re-order the already selected options.
Option 4: Applicants who aren’t satisfied with the seat allotted and don’t want to wait for any round of counselling can select this feature. The seat allotted during Maharashtra MBBS admission stands cancelled.
