Seats are allocated based on applicants’ entrance scores and preferences through multiple rounds of counseling. Candidates who accept a seat must pay the admission fee online and report to the allotted college with original documents for final verification

Engineering Admission in MP Counseling Process

Register for Counseling

• Go to the MP Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) counseling portal: dte.mponline.gov.in.
• Create an account and register by filling out personal, academic, and contact details.

Document Verification

• Upload necessary documents for verification (or visit a designated verification center if needed):
• 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets
• JEE Main scorecard (if applicable)
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate (if required)
• Passport-sized photograph and signature
• Choice Filling and Locking
• After verification, you can select your preferred engineering colleges and courses from the list available on the portal.
• Rank your preferences carefully and lock in your choices before the deadline.

Seat Allotment

• Seats are allotted based on your entrance exam scores (typically JEE Main) and the preferences you listed.
• The allotment results will be announced on the portal. Log in to view your result and allotted seat.

Accept or Upgrade the Seat

• You can choose to accept the seat or participate in subsequent rounds for a chance at an upgrade to a preferred college or course.
• If satisfied, accept the seat and download the allotment letter.

Fee Payment and Reporting

• Pay the required admission fee online through the portal to secure your seat.
• Report to the allotted college with all original documents for verification on the specified date to complete admission formalities
